Each year, the student council of Harrison High School sponsors the H.O.Y.A. Awards--Highlighting Our Year's Accomplishments.  The awards ceremony celebrates the arts, athletics, and academics of our school as well as noteworthy community and school service endeavors.  Each year, audience members rave about this incredible show of Harrison's accomplishments.

Student Council asks for nominees from everyone in the Harrison community (teachers, parents, administrators, staff, and students).  The top 5 nominees in each category are recognized at a formal event to be held on Tuesday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Presidential Gym.

Judges from outside the Harrison community rate the nominees.  The nominee with the highest compiled score receives the award.

Polls close on March 30th so be sure to get your nominations in as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact the student council sponsor at stephanie.tatum@cobbk12.org

Hoya Pride Award

Our school goal this year is to donate 5000 cans to Thanks For Giving, a Cobb County food shelter initiative.  Through our Hoya Pride Week canned food drive, we gathered 3800 cans, so we are almost at our goal!  Make Harrison the MOST GIVING SCHOOL three years in a row!

Bring any canned food items to the Hole in the Wall.

10 cans will get you a short-sleeved Can the Man t-shirt.

20 cans will get you a long-sleeved Can the Man t-shirt.

Let's CAN THE MAN and fill Mr. Griggers' office with cans for Thanks For Giving.
